Details about Spears’ Unrevealed Past Relationship
Prominent pop artist Britney Spears is preparing to release her forthcoming memoir on October 24. Excerpts from her book divulge previously undisclosed information about a challenging period in her life, during her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake of NSYNC from 1999 to 2002. Spears discloses in her memoir that during their relationship, the pair found out they were expecting a child but ultimately made the difficult decision to end the pregnancy.
PEOPLE have brought to light selected excerpts from Spears’ memoir titled “The Woman In Me” considering Spears’ surprise pregnancy. Spears expresses feelings toward the unexpected pregnancy, stating it was not a tragedy but the circumstances were premature according to her expectations. She adds, Timberlake was not pleased about the unexpected pregnancy. He believed they were too young and unprepared to take on the responsibilities of parenthood.
Spears Unveils Personal Experiences and Subsequent Relationships
In her upcoming memoir published by Gallery Books, a subsidiary of Simon & Schuster, Spears embarks on discussing her decision concerning abortion. According to Spears, if the decision was solely up to her, she would have not proceeded with the abortion. However, Timberlake’s certainty about not wanting to assume the role of a father led to one of the most distressful experiences for Spears. To date, Timberlake has not publicly commented on Spears’ confession about their past.
Post their separation, Spears and Timberlake became parents with different partners. Spears had two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with ex-spouse Kevin Federline. Britney and Sam Asghari, her ex-husband, announced they were expecting last year. Unfortunately, the couple disclosed a month later they had lost the baby. Likewise, Timberlake has two sons, Silas and Phineas, with his wife Jessica Biel.
