Bonnie Wright, Famous for Harry Potter, Gives Birth to First Baby
Known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the renowned Harry Potter movie series, Bonnie Wright, has recently taken on a new role as a mother. She and her husband, Andrew Lococo, have announced the birth of their first child together. Describing giving birth as a “wild experience”, Wright has warmly received motherhood.
The couple celebrated the arrival of their son, who they have named Elio Ocean Wright Lococo. The newborn’s first name, Elio, is a Spanish term translating to “the sun”. This eloquent choice in naming fittingly reflects the parents’ adoration for nature and their commitment to making the world a better place. Wright expressed her joy and gratitude, stating, “We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun.”
A New Chapter Begins for the Couple
Wright revealed in a social media post that their son Elio was born at home on September 19th. She expressed immense gratitude for her birth experience, crediting her birthing team for their support and making the journey a joyful one. She further said, “Birth workers are amazing!”
The actress also expressed gratitude towards her husband, Andrew, appreciating his unwavering support during this transformative journey. The couple first announced their pregnancy earlier this year in April, a year after celebrating their first wedding anniversary. They got married in March 2022 at The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California, during an outdoor ceremony.
We extend our hearty congratulations to Bonnie and Andrew on the arrival of baby Elio! We send them our best wishes and love as they embrace their new roles as parents.
