Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s Second Daughter’s Name Revealed Following Their Split
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who ended their relationship recently, became parents to their second child in July 2022. Until now, however, they have kept the identity of their youngest child under wraps. This behavior was expected given their deliberate choice to keep their first-born away from public scrutiny. Due to Jonas and Turner filing for divorce, the name of their second girl child has now been made public. Court documents acquired by Page Six that concern the pop singer and the Game of Thrones actress reveal the name of their second child. The duo, now separated, named their baby girl Delphine, a name of French descent. Jonas and Turner are also parents to a three-year-old girl named Willa.
Sophie Turner Files a Lawsuit Amid Divorce Proceedings with Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas, band member of the Jonas Brothers, initiated divorce procedures with the actress earlier this month. Following Jonas’s divorce application, Turner lodged a lawsuit of her own claiming that her ex-partner was in possession of her daughters’ passports. She called for the passports to be returned to England, where the couple had been domiciled since April. To date, the couple has consented to have their children reside in New York throughout their separation and child custody hearings.
Their relationship started in November 2016 when the “Do Revenge” actress started dating the “Cake by the Ocean” singer. By May 2019, they were husband and wife after an unexpected Las Vegas ceremony and an extravagant wedding in France later that same month. In his divorce application, Jonas stated their marriage was “impossible to fix.” A few days subsequent to this, they both posted matching statements to their respective social media accounts announcing their separation and noting, “We have mutually chosen to amicably end our marriage after four delightful years together. Several speculative stories are circulating about our reasons, but this is a joint resolution. We sincerely hope everyone will respect our privacy as well as our children’s.”
