Confirmation of Names for Elon Musk’s Twins Nearly Two Years post their November 2021 Birth

Details became known in July 2022 about how in the previous year, Elon Musk, the creator of Tesla, had quietly had twin babies with Shivon Zilis, one of his Neuralink company’s executives. While specific details about the babies were not given at that time, over a year later, the public now knows their names.

The announcement about the births of the eighth and ninth children of Elon took place through court documents that the couple filed in Texas, which is the twins’ birthplace. They were born in November 2021, but personal data had been omitted from the papers at the time. Later, during a promotional interview with TIME magazine for his upcoming biography by Walter Isaacson, Elon revealed the names of his twins. The twins, pictured with their mum and dad, are known as Strider and Azure.

Elon Musk’s Extended Family

In total, the founder of SpaceX has ten children. However, Musk’s twins, Strider and Azure, are his only children with Shivon Zilis. A month after the twins were born, Musk welcomed another baby with the singer Grimes via surrogacy, in December 2021, the baby girl is primarily referred to as Y, despite having the announced name of Exa Dark Sideræl. The couple’s first child, a son named X Æ A-Xii but commonly known as X, was born in 2020.

Elon Musk is also a proud father to four more children: Vivian, Griffin, Damien, Kai, and Saxon. He also had a son named Nevada, who tragically died from sudden infant death syndrome when he was only 10 weeks old.
